A few months ago I was in a serious car accident. Amongst a long list of injuries I broke my right knee and had a lot of soft tissue damage. My right knee and calf still swell and ache so I thought I would give some compression socks a try. I tried a few pairs from local stores and then I ran across these VIM & VIGR Unisex Men's or Women's Cotton 15-20 mmHg Compression Socks . These socks make a difference! How you ask? Let me tell you what makes them superior to the compression socks at the local stores.

These socks are made up of  48% cotton, 42% nylon, and 10% spandex (latex free). They feature graduated compression from ankle to calf and contoured leg and heel for superior fit.
They have a flexible toe pocket for extra comfort. Spandex throughout the sock really adds to the comfort.

The socks that I got are compression level 15-20 mmHg but there's also medical-grade compression level 20-30 mmHg available. I really like that there's such a variety of sizes and also wide calf sizes too.

You wouldn't think that a pair of socks could make such a difference but these socks do, they help reduce swelling and achiness and heaviness, aid in muscle recovery and energize your legs.
