Easy to use combination lock that allows you to set your own combination. Has a 6 ft. cable so it can be used just about anywhere whether it be a fence post, a bike rack, or a light post.

This lock is can be used for locking up other things too, all terrain vehicles, sports equiptment, all kinds of outdoor stuff. I don't know about you but I can't afford to keep replacing the things I buy. I'd much rather protect what I have with a good, durable lock like this one from SafeBest.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up dead? Well J E Shannon gives such a description in this book I could almost feel what the main character Evie felt. This book kept me riveted til the end. I only took short breaks from it when I had to, and actually was so caught up in it I finished it one day.This book  is a fictional , suspenseful,action packed story but tells of boundless love between sisters. Death cannot even limit what the heart can accomplish. I admit before I started this book I had reservations because it's geared toward young adults but let me tell you it held my attention!! The cast of characters were a great team together. J E Shannon writes in a way that is easy to follow, and descript enough to feel the emotions of the characters. You can even visualize the people and places she writes about. Just how far would your love for family go? I received this e-book for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Aliyah's 4th birthday





Today a bunch of us, both sides of the family, gathered in the park for grandbaby #13's 4th birthday.  It's crazy how fast  they grow!! It wasn't that long ago my kids were that small and I sure don't feel old enough to be resposible for the 3 generations here today. I love having all the holiday and birthday gatherings and looking across the crowd and knowing that all this chaotic dyfunction stems from me lol It turned out to be a good day. The weather worked with us, it was warm and sunshiny. The sound of the little ones running and playing, the squeals of happiness opening presents and then the quiet when they were refueling on ice cream and cake. When I wasn't chasing those happy little running feet it was nice to just look at the crowd and know they are all mine.

Grammy's Kitchen

This is Kaya, grandbaby # 14, getting to help with Christmas cookies for the first time last December
These nice cool mornings are what I've been waiting for. The sticky summer heat is finally over and I'm so ready to start baking. Somehow cooking soothes my soul, especially baking cookies. I look forward to all the "helping hands" of the grandkids  during the holiday season. I have to bring them over in batches usually according to age. They all love helping out in "Grammy's  Kitchen" but not as much as I love having them here. Some of my fondest childhood memories come from my Grandma's kitchen. Even when I was too small to help and I got set in a chair out of the way just watching. I loved listening to the conversations and watching, not to mention the taste testing. (Here in my kitchen it's known as quality control and the kids fight for that job) The kids even help me look for new recipes to try and we get together to try them out. I hope that in years to come my grandkids will look back at all of cooking together and making cookies with the same fondness I have for my Grandma's kitchen.
